Inspiration: Burning L.A.

This is a great image from the back of a departing yacht as a group of survivors leaves Los Angelos behind during a zombie apocalypse. Behind them, the city burns uncontrollably, caught between ravening hordes of zombies and an implacable military that still thinks they can win against them.

From Season 2, Episode 1 of Fear the Walking Dead. It’s not a happy scene, but it conveys so many emotions: horror, sadness, relief at surviving, guilt at leaving so many others behind, etc.
