Well, my interest in Eric Flint’s sprawling 1632 series has been rekindled. Now I’ve embarked on a project to catch up with the world’s largest literary shared universe. So, come along as I read…and review…the books of the “Ring of Fire” series.
My schedule for Balticon has been finalized. I’m on seven panels and I’m moderating two of them. This will be the first convention I’ve attended since the pandemic started. Balticon is being held in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor over Memorial Day weekend.
I had a great time selling books at Manassas Reads, an annual event hosted by the City of Manassas, Manassas City Public Schools, and the Prince William Public Library System. I’d been busy during the pandemic, so I had five books plus two anthologies for sale.
Somebody asked me where they could buy my books. Then I realized that I didn’t know which retailers besides Amazon sold my books. So I did a bit of research…
Thanks to everybody for your thoughts and good wishes over the past week. Yes, I’ve been able to get everything moved to my new hosting platform, OpalStack. It took a lot of work to get everything moved. I’d been with WebFaction (RIP) since 2006, so my web properties were distinctly enterprise-level in size and scope after all this time.
Thanks to the depredations of GoDaddy, my web hosting company is going away. I will be re-hosting all of my websites and my writing archive on an emergency basis over the next week.
